Forum Theatre was developed by Augusto Boal as part of his Theatre of the Oppressed legacy.
Due to the nature of the material we work with, we feel a responsibility towards our audiences, to be knowledgeable and impartial, in order to maintain a safe environment and to allow for an exchange of objective information. Thus our forum theatre productions are based on rigorous research, interviews and material developed in workshops.
We have collaborated with a number of organisations in Brighton and London, creating public forum theatre productions on various socio-political issues, including homelessness, homophobia, abuse, and family law. The dynamic of this form of theatre has proven to be a successful way to raise awareness and to empower.
Please get in touch with us if you would like to find out more about how we can create a bespoke forum theatre performance or workshop for you.
